JobTitle: QE Engineer
Your job is to:
Oversee the product inspection activities within the company and QA activities within the department.
Establish the QC Inspection Checklists.
Review defective or reject products for disposition. Make/recommend disposition for MRB review and approval.
Review customer products’ specification/requirement.
Establish and review existing quality/environmental management system practice within QA/QC activities for compliance of international management system requirements.
Conduct internal management system audit as assigned by Lead Auditor or Company Management Representative.
Appoint as Department Environmental Representative (DER) to deal and act on environmental matter within QE department.
Promote the quality/environmental management system awareness within department.
Issue internal corrective action requisition to relevant personnel/department on quality problems.
Initiate corrective action requisition to raw material supplier on non-conformance incoming material.
Assess month or annually on the suppliers’ performance.
Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions; participate in improvement project(s).
Attend to customers’ quality enquiry or complaints; and prepare the necessary 8D or relevant report(s) to customer.
Take part in new product review and product’s characteristics study.
Prepare QA reports and other reports as assigned by QE Manager.
Conduct quality training to fellow colleagues, peers and subordinates.
Stand in for QE Manager during his absence.
Other duties as assigned by QE Manager at time of need and as documented in management system manual and procedures.
You’re likely to be successful if you have:
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Backend Process and Quality environment from the semiconductor manufacturing industry, preferably with QA/QC experience.
Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14001, TS16949 and QS 9000
Proficiency in written and spoke English
Good interpersonal and communication skills
PC literate in MS Office, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point
